B3 Forklift Truck Driver URGENTLY required to start Monday 20th May

Location: Bridlington

Hours and Pay Rates :

Monday to Friday

£17.00 per hour 5pm to 1.30am

£19.50 per hour 1.30am to 4am

Saturday and Sunday

£26.00 per hour

We URGENTLY require an experienced B3 Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck Driver to work on a night shift for our Offsite and Modular Construction client based in the Bridlington area.

About the role

As a B3 Forklift Truck Driver in a Modular production environment, you will be responsible for operating a fork lift truck to handle, move, and position large and often irregularly shaped modular components. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks, organising and transporting modular construction products, within the production facility, and ensuring that components are safely and efficiently moved to the next stage of the production process.

You must adhere to strict health and safety on site, perform basic routine maintenance checks on the forklift, and collaborate closely with production team members to maintain workflow and meet production deadlines. Accurate record-keeping of material movements and inventory is also essential in this role to support overall production efficiency and quality control.

The Main Duties Will Be:

• Picking, loading, and unloading construction materials in the production area


• General labouring duties if not busy on forklift truck


• Other general production area duties also required to meet the business needs


• Maintain a clean working environment


• Follow all Health and Safety procedures on site


• Perform routine maintenance on a B3 Fork Lift Truck


• Placing all deliveries of construction materials/stock on racks within the production/warehouse area

Skills/ Qualifications Required

• Valid B3 Counter Balance license (No in house license's)


• Minimum 1 year’s experience ideally (but not essential) in a Modular/ Offsite environment


• Ideally also hold a B1 license too


• Good level of English and Maths for inventory management


• Can work in a fast-paced environment and at times work under pressure


• Can complete basic paperwork for deliveries of modular steel products


• Can operate a B3 counterbalance forklift truck efficiently and safely in a busy production facility environment


• Able to lift heavy objects and place in designated areas


• Have the ability to follow simple instructions from Supervisor and and Managers of the production area


• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A NIGHT SHIFT

Although this position is temporary for the right candidate it will lead to a permanent position.
