You will be joining our team of experts working on a line of twin-turboprop Aircraft.As part of this role, you must be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team and as an integral part of the Gama Engineering Group, possessing strong communication, organisation and leadership skills. To be considered for this position you will hold, a UK CAA/EASA Part 66 B1 Licence, preferably with the following type rating:Beechcraft King AirDue to the nature of the position, you must be flexible and able to travel at short notice to other customer or Gama Aviation sites within the UK and Overseas. Yes, we fly but we also save lives, provide mission critical intelligence, and build systems that deliver decisive advantage.With operations in the UK, US, and the Middle East, a career with us can offer travel, personal growth opportunities and the ability for long-term progression in a fast paced and dynamic service industry./ Responsibilities:Responsible for the management of and performance/quality of performed works in compliance with applicable company process and procedures.Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with company procedures and processEnsure correct compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Maintain current the required engineering licence and applicable type rating as required to perform their duties and be responsible for ensuring their licences and type ratings do not lapse and are kept up to date.Accountable for providing professional communication with customers and contacts as required.To achieve and maintain applicable required security clearance level, SC, DV police checks etc.Responsible for ensuring all activity carried out in accordance with data protection rules and procedures.Individual responsibility for booking accurate, and consistent timekeeping in applicable software system./ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:Essential Requirements:An Unrestricted UK CAA B1 Part 66 License (with B200/300 type rating)Extensive previous aircraft base maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in servicing, inspection repair and modificationsSatisfactory recency as required for issue of applicable certifying approvalFull UK Driving licenceMedically fit to pass a company doctors examinationJob Specific Skills:Computer Literature, Using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong technical understanding and experience for specific aircraft type as dictated by site or contractual involvementWorking knowledge of Aviation regulatory framework, Part 145 / Part M / MAOS / CAA Leaflet B40Command of English language, and good communication skills, both written and verbalGood knowledge of King Air aircraft maintenance and operations standards and practicesGood understanding of the concepts and requirements of SMS, Quality Assurance and AuditsManagerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear directions and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills.
