Package : £45,000 - £55,000 + £70K OTE

Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider and Microsoft Partner, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pre-Sales Consultant/Subject Matter Expert to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to the sales team, as well as clients, in the areas of Azure and Microsoft technologies within the legal and financial services sector.
The role will primarily focus on pre-sales activities, but it will also require an understanding of the internal technical environment. The successful candidate will need to work within the operations team to support and enhance their knowledge. This includes involvement with the infrastructure team, migrations team, and third line support. Although this will constitute a small percentage of the focus, it is essential for supporting the primary role.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough technical discovery sessions with potential clients to understand their current IT infrastructure, pain points, and business objectives.
Utilize deep knowledge of Azure and Microsoft technologies, including Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365, to identify opportunities for leveraging the cloud and Microsoft stack in the legal and financial services sector.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and provide technical solutions that meet those needs.
Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations to clients that showcase the benefits of our Azure services.
Provide technical support to clients during the sales process and throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal teams, including solution architects and engineers, to design and propose customized cloud solutions that meet customer requirements and support the implementation.
Manage Azure projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Azure and related technologies.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in pre-sales or technical consulting roles, preferably within the cloud or IT services industry.
Strong technical expertise in Azure and Microsoft technologies.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator AZ-104 (Required)
Microsoft Certified: SC-900, Azure Infrastuctrure, Azure Solutions Architect (Desired)
Familiarity with the legal and financial services sector, understanding their unique IT challenges and compliance requirements.
Experience in project management, preferably in an Azure environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse customer needs and propose innovative cloud solutions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are highly desirable.
