Azure Cloud Architect Manchester Flexible Hybrid Working
Our client is looking to engage an Azure Architect to join them as they make their journey into the Cloud. They are a Professional Services company with offices Globally, a combined workforce of nearly 6000 and an annual revenue of in excess of $5 billion.
You will be pivotal to the success of this and offer your expertise and guidance in developing Azure Infrastructure, working with key Stakeholders Globally.
They are looking to a Cloud Architecture professional that is confident in serving as an SME within the organisation in Azure, key in designing and leading their transition.
Based out of their Manchester site, with a high flex in terms of hybrid working, you will be working within an established and talented Technology Team. This is an exciting time to join them, and you will have the ability and influence of shaping Azure solution and capabilities for the future.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud-based infrastructure solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
Other key responsibilities include:
Evaluating and recommending appropriate Azure services to optimize performance and cost efficiency in diverse scenarios
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that solutions meet business needs
Implementing security best practices and adhering to compliance standards to ensure data protection and privacy
Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintaining system integrity
You must be able to demonstrate the following:
Expertise in designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions and hands-on experience of cloud platforms
It is essential that you have proven experience in delivering an enterprise scale Azure adoption
It would be desirable if you hold a Microsoft Azure Certification, but this is not essential if qualified by experience
Proven experience of Infrastructure as a Code (IAAC)
You may be someone that has come from an engineering background and transitioned into an Architectural role (for example a Level 4 Infrastructure engineer), or a DevOps role, or indeed have worked within a consultancy environment where you have worked with clients on an enterprise scale adoption.
