Role: Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Leeds
Locke & McCloud are seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer with operational and project delivery experience.
This financial services company have offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds. The ideal candidate will live commutable distance from Leeds City Centre, but there can be flexibility for the right candidate.
You'll be responsible for managing, maintaining and deploying Azure infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices for cloud-based applications.
Monitor cloud infrastructure and services, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
Manage identity and access management in Azure, including Azure Active Directory and role-based access control (RBAC).
Implement security policies, firewalls, and network security groups to safeguard cloud resources.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
Managing robust backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure business continuity.
Supporting the Head of Infrastructure and networks in project delivery.
Work with Technology Change teams to integrate delivery of infrastructure into solutions delivery.
Stay abreast of new security technology, emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
5 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and cloud technologies.
Skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions.
Proficiency in Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure data lake, Azure data factory pipelines, Powershell, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
