Our client, a large and renowned multinational organisation, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure and Microsoft 365 Specialist. This role is based in their London office and offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of integrating and optimising Azure and M365 technologies within a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Azure and Microsoft 365 Specialist Key Responsibilities:
Integration and Optimisation:
Lead the integration of Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies with existing systems, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
Strategic Development:
Influence and shape the strategic direction for supporting and optimising the client's cloud infrastructure.
Cloud Management:
Administer and manage Microsoft 365 applications, integrations, and cloud infrastructure to ensure robust and efficient performance.
Security Implementation:
Implement and maintain robust security controls within the client's cloud, desktop, and M365 environments.
Process Automation:
Utilize Microsoft PowerApps and PowerShell to automate internal processes and enhance operational workflows.
Service Design:
Collaborate with business owners and technical teams to define and implement comprehensive operational requirements and service designs.
Financial Efficiency:
Analyse system performance and provide reporting to identify significant cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Certifications:
ITIL Foundation Certificate V3 (preferable)
Certified Cloud Professional or equivalent Cloud Engineering experience
Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate certifications (Modern Desktop, Messaging, Teams, Identity & Access, Security)
Technical Expertise:
Expert-level skills in Windows 10/11 technologies (e.g., AutoPilot, VPN, MDM and MAM, Defender ATP, Windows Virtual Desktop, System Centre)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Practical experience with process flows and automation tools (Microsoft PowerApps, PowerShell)
Education:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Professional Experience:
Proven experience in managing Microsoft 365 applications and cloud infrastructure
Proactive experience in event, problem, change, and configuration management
Experience working with Microsoft partners to optimise support models
Analytical and Communication Skills:
Excellent analytical and reporting skills
Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to formulate and design process flow maps (e.g., Microsoft Visio)

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload
Ability to work independently, generate new ideas, and handle pressure to meet goals
