AWS DevOps Engineer

Job DescriptionAlbany Beck are hiring for a AWS DevOps Engineer with active Security Clearance (SC) to work on a long term programme of work with a Civil Service client. Position Overview:As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player in our project with a well known Civil Service client. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the client and internal teams to deliver efficient and innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement AWS infrastructure solutions to meet project requirements.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.Implement and enforce security measures in accordance with SC clearance requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and deployments.Stay abreast of AWS best practices and emerging technologies.Qualifications:Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.Active Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and others.Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Familiarity with containerization tools, especially Docker and Kubernetes.Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
