Job Description * Formulating strategies for optimal portfolio allocation, ensuring a balanced distribution of risk and return across sectors, geographies, business lines, and product lines in accordance with industry standards.* Identifying and conducting impact assessments of strategic initiatives, including pricing adjustments, funding changes, regulatory capital implications, and other cost factors.* Assisting in generating insightful management information to guide strategic decisions regarding portfolio allocation. * Assessing and evaluating the loan portfolio to determine suitable pricing and opportunities for strategic distribution, with recommendations for action.* Assisting the Head of Portfolio Strategy in executing strategic initiative projects and enhancing platform and infrastructure in alignment with industry norms.* Actively participating in process optimization and efficiency measures, collaborating closely with regulatory, operational, and compliance interfaces to ensure efficient capital utilization.* Cultivating collaborative relationships with other units within Corporate Client Lending and across Corporate Clients, including Sales Management Business Control, IT delivery organization, Group Risk Management, and Group Finance.* Supporting the broader Corporate Lending team and management in achieving financial and other designated targets related to the Corporate Client Lending loan portfolio as per the Multi-Year Plan.* Completing assigned tasks, including project-related assignments, as required.
The Successful Applicant General:* Proficiency in credit assessment, credit risk, and related capital markets products.* Familiarity with Portfolio Management methodologies.* Proficient in MS Office applications.* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.* Expertise in regulatory and accounting standards, including Basel, CRR, and IFRS.* Proficiency in Python, Access, SQL, Aqua Data Studio, and handling large datasets.* Proficiency in the German language.Education/Certifications:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational education/training.* Preferred certification: CFA.Work Experience:* 5 to 7 years of experience in Loan Origination, Credit Portfolio Management, Risk Management, or similar fields (e.g., Accountancy, Financial Services Consulting).
