Within the Safety, Security and Compliance function the Security team is headed by the Head of Security. The team consists of various roles and responsibilities including the Aviation Security responsibility which manages Regulation and Compliance in all security related matters for the UK and Austrian AOC’s. The Corporate Security side oversees a number of areas including the collation, analysis and dissemination of geopolitical information as impacts on the business. The role involves leading and managing the Aviation Security Team, ensuring the team members' competence and professional development. The responsibilities also include maintaining the Air Carrier Security Programme (ACSP) for three AOCs of easyJet in collaboration with Austrian and Swiss AOC Security managers, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and remains effective. This position requires serving as the Security Manager for the UK AOC (easyJet UK Ltd) and acting as a deputy for the Austrian and Swiss Security Managers when necessary. Additionally, it involves implementing effective systems to support aviation security activities and meet regulatory and easyJet Knowledge Management System requirements. QualificationsWhat you need to do this roleWe're looking for a candidate with extensive experience in both Security and Aviation. You should have a strong understanding of aviation security regulations, specifically Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2015/#####, and relevant training in security management. Your leadership and relationship-building skills are crucial, as you'll be responsible for managing internal and external relationships and implementing strategic initiatives. Flexibility, effective stakeholder management, and knowledge of performance-based regulation are essential. Moreover, excellent communication skills are key, as you'll need to convey your ideas effectively to a wide range of stakeholders, from front-line personnel to the CEO and Board of Directors.
