Aviation Sales Executive - Shipley, Horsham

Hours: 35 per week

With over twenty years’ experience in the aviation after-market, LCLX Aviation have the industry knowledge and relationships to ensure clients’ needs are met expediently. We are now looking for Sales Executive / Account Manager to join us at an exciting time!  This is an office based role, operating from our rural offices in Shipley, West Sussex.

Benefits

Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 + uncapped commission.

Aviation Sales Executive role

To trade aircraft component inventory by means of exchange, loan and sale. Develop business relationships with customers in order to maximise revenue and profit whilst ensuring on time delivery and high service level.

Responsibilities:



  • Quote customers and follow up quote/sales opportunities.


  • Broker sales by means of purchase or exchange.


  • Trade aircraft inventory by means of exchange, loan & sale.


  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers to maximise profit and minimise cost.


  • Implement credit checks as required, process customer orders, identifying delivery and any special requirements.


  • Develop Customer relationships and business opportunities with customers.


  • Deliver high quality customer service.


  • Understand component conditions, certification and airworthiness regulations.


  • Understand IPCs, alternative part numbers and aircraft effectivity.


  • Ensure all applicable costs are recharged to customers.


  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure on time delivery to the customer.


  • Understand and adhere to Export Control regulations, where relevant.


  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge.


  • Adhere to processes and procedures.


  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required.


Requirements of the Aviation Sales Executive / Account Manager



  • A background in aviation inventory trading using is essential, with a minimum of 1 year experience.


  • Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to succeed in a busy team-based environment.


  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.


  • Numerate and accurate, with the ability to meet deadlines


  • Good negotiation, organisational and time management skills.


  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads.


  • Good problem-solving ability with ability to use initiative and common sense.


  • Good computer literacy; familiar in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.


  • Excellent command of the English language.
