THIS ROLE IS BASED IN NEWCASTLE
Are you an experienced AV or media planner/buyer with experience of buying channels ideally including TV and radio? Someone who is flexible, has a desire to learn and can be agile enough to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across multiple agencies in the business?
Over the next three years OMG will be building a 170 person operation in Newcastle. Our vision is for that to be a diverse agency community made up of a range of skills and specialisms, working side-by-side with our colleagues in London and Manchester to deliver outstanding marketing and communications solutions to our clients.
As we grow we will be creating a broad range of specialist media agency capabilities in the city and the first channel specialism we are building is in AV - a team of people responsible for planning and buying AV media across the entire spectrum of buying points from Linear to CTV as well as partnering with our programmatic teams to develop true audience centric solutions for our clients.
The AV Manager will manage an ongoing list of AV campaigns across TV, Radio, Cinema, Digital Video and Digital Audio channels, working with media partners and internal teams (including our specialist programmatic team who activate all programmatic video & audio activity across OMG UK) to ensure the buying and activation of media flows seamlessly from plan to execution.
They will oversee the workload of more junior Exec and assistant level AV specialists and take responsibility for quality assessing their work as well as supporting their development and improving their skills.
