Our client are looking to add top class AV Engineers to their team as they continue to grow their audio visual installation team.

Duties

• Installation of AV systems to the highest standards including:- 1st fix works, installing containment, cable pull and structural fixings etc. - 2nd fix install of equipment, patching and configuration - Handover checks & assist with commissioning
• Work on sites around the UK, potentially spending multiple days away as the work dictates
• Work cooperatively with other trades on sites and be adaptable to fit in with the main schedule
• Attend third-party training as appropriate for the role, (such as, PASMA, IPAF, ECS, asbestos awareness, working at height, etc.)

Skills and Experience

• Experience of working as an engineer, installing AV equipment
• Good cable terminations skills, e.g. soldering, crimping of Cat5/6 (RJ45) and coaxial cables (BNC), etc
• Knowledge of industry standard audio, video and lighting systems
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Hold a drivers licence
