Job Title: Automotive Parts Advisor

Southampton

�22,000 per annum + Bonus (OTE �25,000)

Monday to Friday: Flexible hours (7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 9:30 am - 6:00 pm)

Saturdays: 1 in 3, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Job Description:

Alecto recruitment are currently recruiting for a Parts advisor on behalf of our client, offering a fantastic package, training programs, Flexible Hours and fantastic development.

As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in our team, ensuring the efficient supply and distribution of automotive parts to meet the needs of our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts for their vehicles, providing exceptional service and support throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers regarding automotive parts, including availability, compatibility, and pricing.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery or pickup of parts.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our inventory, including stock levels, product specifications, and pricing structures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize inventory management and ensure sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize computerized systems and databases to track orders, manage inventory, and generate reports as required.
  • Actively contribute to sales targets and performance goals, striving to exceed targets and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in automotive technology to enhance your expertise and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, including their functions, specifications, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computerized systems and databases, with the ability to navigate software programs and input data accurately.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays on a rotational basis and adaptability to flexible working hours during the week.
