System Integration / Automation Manager
Southampton
Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for a System Integration / Automation Manager to join our team in Southampton. The System Integration / Automation Manager will report to the General Manager and responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Primary Responsibilities include:
Pre-Contract Site Surveys
Quotation Preparation in collaboration with tendering team.
Resource analysis and allocation in collaboration with Project Manager.
Solution investigations and development (optioneering).
Equipment Selection and Purchasing
Definition of control system documentation (FDS, SDS, FAT, SAT)
Ensuring of completion of projects to programme and within budget.
Ensuring compliance of all produced outputs in accordance with all client requirements.
In addition to the primary responsibilities above, there will also be secondary responsibilities that may need to be carried out depending on project requirements these to include:
Configuration and programming of multiple PLC, HMI, SCADA and telemetry systems including:
oSiemens (S7, WinCC etc)
oAllen Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC, Panelview etc)
oSchneider (M340, Magelis, Talus4e, Intouch, ClearSCADA etc)
oMitsubishi (A, FX and Q range, Mitsubishi HMIs (Beijer)
Skills / Background:
A background of working as an Automation Engineer
Previous experience of leading a team of skilled engineers.
Client facing with excellent interpersonal skills
Hard working and self-motivated
Either relevant engineering qualification or by experience
