Bespak are looking for an Automation Engineer for the HolmesChapel site on a permanent basis, (CW4 8BE). The salary range for this onsite role is between £60k and £65k plus adiscretionary annual bonus. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leaveplus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking,and medical / dental / health / life insurance.
Shift Pattern
Days Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5.00pm Friday 8:30am to 3:45pm
There is some flexibility on start and finish times and hybrid workingalongside the needs of the business.
As an Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintainingand improving the technical integrity of process and equipment automationsystems at our Holmes Chapel site. You'll provide hardware and softwaresupport, resolve breakdowns, implement preventative maintenance, and ensurecompliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), EHS, and company standards.Your role also involves supporting computer system validation, qualityimprovement initiatives, and training other team members. This is a hands-onrole where you'll collaborate closely with operations and engineering to ensurea safe and efficient production environment.
This permanent position is part of the initial phase ofrecruitment for an exciting new venture. At Bespak Holmes Chapel, we are investing significantly to expand ourcapacity to develop and manufacture pMDIs (Asthma Inhalers) with greenerpropellants to meet evolving sustainability standards in the industry.
As an Automation Engineer your duties will include:
Provide hardware, software, and coding support to maintain system performance.
Provide hardware,software, and coding support to maintain system performance.
Resolve equipmentbreakdowns and conduct root cause analysis.
Ensure compliancewith GMP, EHS, and company standards.
Support computersystem validation and lifecycle management.
Contribute toengineering best practices and project execution.
Train team memberson equipment, systems, and procedures.
Automation Engineer, beneficial key skills, and experience:
Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
Experience with computerized automation systems.
Proven experience with Siemens PLC / HMI and SCADA & ABB PLC / DCS.
Electrical and instrumentation system troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Word.
Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, medical device) desirable.
