Automation Engineer - Operator Renewables London
We're looking for a candidate with proven experience in an engineering design or commissioning organisation, preferably within the process Industry.
Role and Responsibilities
You will:
Design control hardware system, write, commission, and trouble shoot SCADA/DCS software (PCS7, TIA Portal, WinCC, etc...) tailor made for the company and processes.
Ensures Automation team delivers a quality product that meets the User Requirement Specification (URS), Cause & Effect (C&E), P&ID.
Work closely with the engineers of the other disciplines and operational sites,
You will also oversee and develop the technical abilities of junior engineers within the team. You'll use your experience to delegate activities based on the individual team member's knowledge, experience, and ability.
Have the ability to self-motivate and work on own initiative, as well as supporting the wider team.
Electronic Document Management System- Superuser.
Clarification and technical authority role for document control issues.
Development and implementation of system and processes.

Person Specification
Degree in Control and Automation Engineering or related Engineering discipline
Proven experience in an engineering design or commissioning organisation, preferably within the Process Industry
Familiar with programming DCS/SCADA system and preferably programming PCS7 system from Siemens
Knowledge in instrumentations, P&ID, URS (User Requirement Specification), Cause and Effect Matrix, etc
Experience programming and troubleshooting Drives (VSD, DOL,...) and safety PLC systems will be appreciated
