Are you an experienced AutoCAD Lt 2D user who wants be a key member of a small team based in Poole who are experts in designing and delivering bespoke Steel Staircases, Balustrades and structural Steel to Dorset based customers. Clients include homeowners, Builders and businesses seeking steel fabrication solutions in Dorset and throughout the UK.

Are you looking to join a small friendly team who will support you to learn and development and will provide 1 to 1 training and the opportunity to learn and develop within the organisation.

The company are an expanding Steel Fabrication company who due to increased workload need an additional AutoCAD Designer/Estimator.

You will be responsible for draughting Steel solutions and liaising with clients on the telephone. Customer facing experience and good telephone communication skills are essential.

The role:

• Producing detailed Steel drawings using AutoCAD LT
• Willingness to learn to use Tekla software
• Work with the rest of the team to produce an accurate estimating for the customer.
• Willingness to learn to use AutoDesk Inventor software
• Liaising with clients by telephone.
• Liaising with the Surveyor to ensure accurate delivery of steel solutions and ultimately client satisfaction.
• Represent the company when presenting to clients.
• Office based role 8-4.30 Monday to Friday (inc. 30 minute lunch break) in the Poole Office.

The person:

• Competent AutoCAD user
• Ability to commute daily to Poole, Dorset
• Willingness to liaise with customers by telephone.
• Willingness to learn new software.
• Steel background preferred but not essential.
