Salary: £25k - £34k (DOE) + Excellent benefits

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours)

The Client:

Our client is a manufacturing firm, offering global support, servicing, spare parts, and upgrades for all aircraft refuelling applications.

The Role:

As an Auto Electrician, you will play a pivotal role in in diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.

Responsibilities:

• Wire components on custom-built aircraft refuelling vehicles.
• Assemble electrical and pneumatic components onto bespoke panels.
• Test completed work to industry standards.
• Perform occasional site work as needed.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role.
• Experience with vehicle electrics, ideally HGV.
• Background in engineering, ex-forces, or similar field.
• Skilled in using electrical hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers) and general hand/power tools (drills, grinders, riveting).
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Possess soldering skills.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Familiarity with aircraft refuelling vehicles would be beneficial.
• Valid driving licence and own transport.
