Audit Technical Training Manager 

Location – Nationwide



You must be able to access our client's main offices, in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will be required to travel for 40% of this role and 60% online delivery.



There is a requirement to be able to travel anywhere nationally. *Substantial advance notice of all travel requirements is generally given.

Technical Training Manager - Responsibilities




  • Oversee the creation and delivery of audit courses for both classroom and digital platforms as the Technical Training Manager

  • Collaborate closely with relevant members of the management team, particularly those in audit, to identify training needs and ensure the program design aligns with those needs

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, and confidence in proposing suitable learning solutions, be it through classroom courses, webinars, videos, or other media

  • Display imagination and be proactive in developing both individual training courses and the overall program

  • Embrace accelerated learning techniques used by the firm in course delivery. While prior experience or training in these techniques is not mandatory, a willingness to adopt them with appropriate guidance is required. These techniques prioritise interactive learning, placing emphasis on the learner's active engagement in discovering relevant information, rather than relying solely on the trainer's lecture-style delivery

  • Deliver classroom courses nationally, with a requirement for travel to any of the company offices





Skills and Experience




  • Must be ACA, ICAS or equivalent chartered qualified, and have background in training/coaching staff

  • Experience and background in working on external audits and being able to coach/train other team members/stakeholders

  • Must hold a good knowledge base in ISAs and audit skills

  • The ability to train/coach face-to-face and via digital means is essential to the role

  • The role is home-based, but has the flexibility to be office-based, so being self-driven and autonomous is essential
