Hunter Savage is currently representing a successful and growing Accountancy Practice in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Audit Senior to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a renowned firm and gain valuable experience in the field of auditing.
As an Audit Senior you will not only play a vital role in performing audits and assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients but will have exposure to accounts preparation, corporate finance and occasionally Tax. This role would really suit someone who would like to broaden their experience outside of Audit.

The Role:
Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit testing, and documentation.
Perform substantive and analytical procedures to evaluate financial statements and internal controls.
Identify and communicate audit findings to clients, offering valuable recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with the audit team to ensure compliance with audit standards, regulations, and best practices.
Preparation of accounts for various clients as required
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, providing excellent client service throughout the audit process.
The Person:
Newly/recently qualified accountant
Prior experience in audit
Knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications
