Audit Senior - Public Sector

TeamJobs are looking for an Audit Senior in Birmingham!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a top 10 accountancy firm, ideal for someone with experience auditing within the Public Sector.

Job duties will include, but not be limited to:

- being heavily involved in completing the audit fieldwork and audit procedures, typically at the client's premises

- being responsible for planning and completing audit assignments

- ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation

- preparing statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas to higher management

- planning the finalisation of audit assignments ready for management review

Ideal candidate:

- ACCA / ACA qualified

- working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP

- experience coaching junior team members
