Audit Manager - Accountancy Practice

Sewell Wallis is working with a growing Yorkshire based Accountancy Practice who are looking to recruit an Audit Manager into their team - £50k - £60k plus bonus.
This is a newly created role where you will work closely with Accounts and Client Managers and the role will suit an individual who is ambitious and driven as the firm offers clear progression opportunities.
Candidates who are looking to make the next step from Assistant Manager level will also be considered.
Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA qualified and reporting to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:- Supervising, reviewing and controlling the work for the teamManaging a portfolio of clients including client facing service delivery and dealing with queriesCompleting audits within agreed timescalesHolding audit planning meetings for both the client and team membersPlanning of audit assignments, audit testing and reporting findingsSupervising and controlling the preparation of statutory and non-statutory financial statementsActively reviewing WIPTaking responsibility for work-flow planningEngaging in business development activitiesAd hoc project work RequirementsACA/ACCA qualifiedSolid experience within an Accountancy firmDemonstrable experience of managing a teamExcellent communication and presentation skillsBenefitsOpportunity to work alongside the senior management team across the firmOnsite parkingCompetitive benefits package For further details please contact Emma Dugdale.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
