As an Audit Director, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of audit quality and compliance are met. You will lead and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your strategic insight and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving the firm's audit practice forward, identifying new business opportunities, and enhancing our reputation in the market.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and support.
Oversee the performance and development of the audit team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the audit department and the firm as a whole.
Ensure the firm's audit methodologies and practices are up to date and in line with professional standards.
Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Significant experience in audit management and leadership roles.
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and UK GAAP, with IFRS experience being advantageous.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
Ability to think strategically and contribute to the firm's growth and development.
