The post will involve performing paediatric hearing, balance and electrophysiological testing. This post would suit a band 6 Audiologist with an interest in Paediatrics with at least a years post qualification experience.Duties & ResponsibiltiesHearing assessments for new born to 18 years: Hearing tests, impedance testing and OAEsCAPD assessmentsWorking alongside ENT consultantsAssisting Audio-vestibular Physicians in hearing & Balance assessmentsBalance assessments: VNG, calorics and rotary chairElectro-physiological testing: ABRs, ASSR, c-VEMPs & o-VEMPsExplanation of results, where appropriateSkills & Experience MSc or BSc in Audiology
Knowledge of paediatric audiology Able to work effectively without direct supervision
