Home Visit Coordinator

Position: Home Visit Coordinator

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Part Time

Salary Range: �23,500 to �24,702 FTE

�16,388 to �17,226 per year (pro-rata, term time only)

Responsibilities:

As a Home Visit Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to ensure the attendance and wellbeing of vulnerable students. You will work closely with the Attendance Team to plan and carry out home visits. By building strong relationships with students, parents, and carers, you will help remove barriers to attendance and support the drive to improve punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account for all vulnerable students each academy day
  • Support the strategy to improve attendance and punctuality
  • Remove barriers to attendance for vulnerable students
  • Plan, carry out, and record all home visits

In addition to your specific responsibilities, you will contribute to the effective safeguarding of students and promote student welfare. Building positive relationships with students, valuing their opinions, and encouraging the development of our academy's values will be crucial. You will also work in partnership with parents and carers to secure the best outcomes for our students.

Requirements:

  • Educated to Level 2 in English and Maths (e.g., GCSE grade C/4 or above)
  • Demonstrable experience in a relatable role
  • Ability to form and maintain positive relationships
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexible approach to supporting children and families
  • Happy to have an Enhanced DBS Check completed prior to employment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
