Our client is looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their international multi-disciplinary consultancy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sustainability in expanding the firm's sustainability offering in the North, with a focus on net zero carbon, circular economy, embodied carbon, and decarbonisation strategies.

Associate Sustainability Consultant Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Experience leading and delivering projects
• Managing junior members of staff
• Demonstrable evidence of developing sustainable design strategies in a built environment context
• Experience in financial management, including forecasting and resourcing
• Experience in work winning and business development
• Chartership with a relevant industry body
• Exemplary communication, written and verbal
• Experience delivering presentations to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Technical report writing

Associate Sustainability Consultant Duties:

• Project leadership and mentorship of junior team members
• Produce technical guidance and analysis to influence sustainability strategies (including leading workshops to help clients define their strategic sustainability brief)
• Deliver, report and evaluate on project sustainability targets
• Speak at industry events
• Assist in bid writing and attending project interviews
• Assist in project forecasting and budget management
• Develop and implement policies and strategy
• ESG reporting, including performance against Science Based Targets
• Manage and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certification
• Development of communications plan for the practice, producing up to date marketing material on our sustainability activities
