Working across all sectors, often in complicated or highly regulated industries, our highly experienced real estate team offers a great breadth and depth of property industry experience and technical expertise.Our clients range from property developers, investors and lenders to public and third-sector organisations such as schools and health-sector bodies, working in a variety of sectors from Energy and renewables to retail, leisure and hospitality and from transport to logistics.As our team is growing, we are now seeking to appoint two new solicitors, ideally at the Associate level (5 years PQE upwards), in both our Leeds and Bradford offices.The rolesThese are new roles which offer an ideal opportunity for someone to take a major step forward in their career working with exceptional partners.It is a chance to play a key role within our Real Estate team, allowing you to display your breadth of technical knowledge and client-facing skills.However, you will also play an important role in supervising and developing less experienced team members.What we’re looking forWe expect you to contribute to business development initiatives, and help the firm succeed in a noticeable way.You must have proven knowledge of commercial property work, ideally having played key roles in managing complex matters such as all aspects of asset management, including agreements for leases, leases and surrenders, as well as development (commercial and residential) and investment (acting for individuals and institutional landlords), where you can identify your role in achieving success.You will need a positive profile with clients and demonstrate good commercial awareness of their sector(s) and the market in which they operate.We anticipate that you will likely have at least 5 years PQE and be keen to progress your career within a forward-thinking and commercial group of lawyers.You must have a collaborative and flexible working style, as well as experience in and a keen interest in developing others working at a more junior level.With proven organisational skills, you will also need to demonstrate an approachable, friendly and open style of working.This means you must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to reflect a reassuring manner to our clients.These roles fall within our hybrid working arrangements, which incorporate elements of working from home combined with office-based working.How to applyIf you have the skills and experiences we are looking for and this sounds like a career opportunity you would like to pursue, we want to hear from you.
