Associate Project Manager - Industrial - Worcester - �38,000-�45,000 - Hybrid Working

Associate Project Manager required to join a pioneering engineering company specializing in the design, manufacturing and installation of cutting-edge test equipment.

As part of a growth strategy, my client is seeking someone who has previous experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Associate Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer or Junior Project Manager to lead and manage projects across the organization, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

As the successful Project Manager you will be responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of projects. This role would be primarily suited to someone who has experience of running multi-faceted projects with a mix of internal equipment and specialist contractors. A working knowledge of CDM (construction, design and management) would be advantageous to the role, with demonstrable skills in achieving tight project schedules.

The role will require travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas, with occasional visits to the office, therefore a full UK license is essential for this role.

The Package:

�38,000-�45,000

Company car or car allowance (�450 pm)

39 hours - Flexitime - Core hours - 10am-4pm

25 days holiday + statutory

Company pension - 4.5%

The Role:

  • Check project feasibility and identify budgets, teams and resources.
  • Carry out planning, setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules using MS Projects.
  • Select, lead, and motivate the project team from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the project team to ensure the project is running to time and budget.
  • Carry out monitoring and control activities to track the progress of the project.
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time.
  • Ensure that the client is aware of the "milestone" timelines.
  • Implement any necessary changes throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • Will ideally be qualified to HNC / Degree level.
  • Must have technical understanding, ideally with previous experience working in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Will have previous experience running multi-faceted projects.
  • IOSH, COSHH or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is highly desirable.
  • Experience of facilities build, construction or building services would be advantagous.
