Position at Resolver
The Role
The Associate Product Manager (APM) will help drive their products throughout their lifecycle. From identifying candidate products, through design, productionisation, release operation and retirement/migration. You will work closely with the wider Product team as well as the Capability and Technical Teams and Customer Success.
As an APM you will help manage the product roadmap defining the developments needed to detect toxic, illegal and brand damaging social media content to protect our customers and their brands. You will also think carefully about the User Experience that underpins customer satisfaction with our products. You will want to develop customer-facing experience, and will be motivated to engage with our customers to really understand the market and their individual needs. You will be expected to be comfortable at both an operational and tactical level. You will help develop and implement a compelling go-to-market strategy for your products.
In this role, you will develop an understanding of key competitors and relentlessly focus on Resolvers unique value proposition and points of differentiation. You will constantly consider the market focus of our products and ensure that our risk coverage, reporting outputs and data analytics lead the field in the sectors in which we choose to play.
You will collaborate with the Account Management, Service Quality, Solution Architecture, Human Intelligence and Service Desk teams to ensure you collate all customer requirements, as well as the internal requirements for the product /service development.
You will support the delivery of development activities, ensuring release management activities including documentation and training are delivered, and will help monitor and drive adoption to ensure productionising of the development efforts.

Helping to manage delivery of prioritised product enhancements and technical debt / bug fixes
Assisting with release management, including documentation and training and continued assessment of product function
Helping drive adoption / productionisation of the development efforts
Responsibilities
Identifying and prioritising Product features
Ensure that all parties have clear understanding of the end goal and are focussed on delivering
Write customer-based story for what the product needs to do and assign work based on required features
Manage the prioritisation of work based on Effort versus Impact.
Scope work items / tickets that need to be executed to complete the development work
Chart and monitor progress toward product completion for each component and the final product
Test results with a structured approach (hypothesis, evaluation) in order to learn, adjust and innovate
Helping manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, including developing or standing up core capabilities
Helping to drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning
Partner on the messaging for the GTM plan, working with all departments to execute including driving awareness & buy-in
Overseeing multiple concurrent successful product builds and deliver using diverse capabilities and teams - statistics, software, consulting - and ensure continuous improvements of project or product delivery
Coordinate work with other software development and infrastructure teams to incorporate product components in the final product.
Qualifications and Experience
Consistent track record problem-solving with the ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in application and product development.
Experience of the context/domain we work in (Risk Intelligence/Moderation/Security/internet Safety).
A strong interest in product management, ideally in a SAAS / technology environment.
Previous experience working within a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
Experience in managing stakeholders across the business
Experience in a start-up/scale-up environment and appreciates the pace and complexity of working within these conditions
Degree educated (or equivalent) or of degree calibre
Skills and Competencies

Solution definition: ability to help define and position high value solutions that address market opportunities and are within reasonable grasp of our technical capabilities

Teamwork: the ability to build collaborative working relationships across the business and drive initiatives with buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders while respectfully challenging and inspiring towards a common goal
Resource Management: ability to understand and help manage resources related to efficiency and optimal performance; ensure timelines are met and commitments are maintained.
