Discover endless opportunities to grow and make your mark atHines.ResponsibilitiesAsan Associate with Hines, you will be responsible for working closelywith the senior leadership in the Portfolio Modeling division ofInvestment Management. The primary role is to support the managementof client portfolios within the Portfolio Management team by creatingand implementing modeling tools that enable management to betterunderstand the performance at an asset and fund level. The positionwill involve various activities for multiple clients from theday-to-day operations of existing investment platforms to supportingthe formulation of strategy for new and existing vehicles.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supports portfolio modeling, performance measurement, and transactionexecutionDetermine fund performance and investorreturns for internal and external reportingPrepare cash flow forecasts for investor reporting and in response toother inquiriesSupport hold/sell analysis byproviding fund-level returns for various scenariosSupport and coordinate appraisal managementTrack and manage fund liquidityMonitor debtcompliance at fund and asset levelsResponsiblefor elements of property database maintenanceQualificationsMinimum Requirements include:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; andrelevant accounting, economics, finance, or real estate qualificationpreferredThree or more years of work experience in acommercial real estate investment, finance, or research functionStrong analytical/quantitative skills and advanced cashflowmodeling skillsStrong communication, listeningand organizational skillsStrong report writingskills/presentation skillsSelf-starter and team player whoembraces collaborationAccurate under timepressure and exceptional attention to detailFlexible approach to work and willingness/ability to travelAbility to work overtime as required by circumstancesClosingAt Hines, westrive for excellence as a leading global real estate investmentmanager, driven by our by our belief that real estate is fundamentallyabout people.
