What do I need?
You will ideally have previous experience within a similar role handling a full and varied case load of litigated property insurance files. Experience of working in the insurance industry would be beneficial but is not essential.
It is expected that you will have at least 5 years PQE within Scotland with dual qualification being desirable although not essential!
You will need to be a dedicated individual who can inspire and supervise junior members of the team, drawing on your experience to provide the best level of advice. You will need to work to deadlines and manage the lifecycle of a claim from start to finish including reviewing and drafting document on behalf of a senior Partner. Great leaders are hard to come by
and not everyone finds it easy but if this is something you excel at, this role is for you!
Working alongside other senior solicitors, you will need to assist our Partner with progressing property files to a conclusion, considering the issues of coverage, liability, quantum and strategy.

What will you be doing?
You will be asked to competently deal with litigation files including insurance and commercial litigation, property damage, marine and regulatory. This exciting role involves working on a varied and interesting case load whilst working alongside an industry leading Partner. What’s in it for you?
