Job DescriptionMaiden Marc Associates are working with a leading retained executive search boutique with offices in London and New York to find two Associate to Senior Associate level profiles to join their industry-leading Financial Service and DDAT (Digital, Data and Technology) teams.Focusing on operationally critical and strategically essential roles globally, the business has a lengthy history and track record of finding CEOs, CFOs, direct reports to the board team, as well as leaders of the critical functions within the biggest names in the Professional Services and Finance Services space, including clients across Banking, leading Hedge Funds and Asset/Wealth Managers.Working directly under/learning from a hands-on Partner, they anticipate that the right individual for the role will work on core search mandates from day one. Access to the core research and referencing parts of the role as well as the ability to start growing/managing a candidate network, will also be offered immediately.As you develop in your career, you will be encouraged to build your market network, manage senior professionals as a trusted advisor and, with experience Partner guidance, develop into a fee-generating Consultant, allowing you to take personal responsibility for developing your own market areas.Core role objectives include:The ability to identify, reference, and proactively reach out and assess candidates for active mandates and core clientsCreate detail-oriented forensic competitor analysis, including strategic overviews, benchmarking, bespoke market and product intelligence reports, referencing and profiling market leaders in the Financial Services and Board practice spaceExecute search mandates, including full lifecycle search and candidate management parts of the process, while working closely with the partners in closing candidates and working with clientsOwn pre-pitch/origination research and due diligence responsibilitiesThe firm is implementing a strategic 5-year growth plan and is looking for Associate and Senior Associate level talent to become future consultants and leaders. While the business is small enough that all high-performing Associates will be given a genuine opportunity to impact and grow with the firm, they already have an outstanding track record in the market.They are looking for someone who ideally has the following:12 months to six years experience, preferably within a search or headhunting environment, though they would consider a high-performing contingent recruiter looking for a move to retained searchWorked on executive search mandates/market research projects or has the drive to take on this type of detail-oriented role moving forwardExcellent academic credentials with a degree or postgraduate qualification being highly sought-after, alongside exemplary writing skillsA mature but driven personality that enjoys problem-solving, is motivated to deliver, and has a natural drive to overachieveSalary banding for the role depends on experience. It starts from £38,000 for the junior end of the Associate pool and rises based on background and delivery track record to £80,000+ for more experienced Senior Associate or Principal-level candidates.A leading total compensation scheme (discretionary performance-driven bonus) accompanies this, alongside opportunities for internal growth, a real hands-on mentorship and development in a retained environment and includes a route to moving to their New York office if this is of interest.
