Landscape Architect – London UK - Permanent Full-time role + hybrid working
Gillespies has exciting opportunities for Associate Landscape Architects that have led or have experience in Landscape Master Planning, Design & Documentation. The offer is flexible with permanent or fixed-term contracts, specific to a large International public realm and park projects.

We are looking for highly skilled Associate to work on significant international projects, primarily located in the Middle East. The projects will be run from our UK offices; we are flexible on the locations although would prefer the successful candidate to work out of our London office. You should demonstrate strong skills in design and technical design packages, cross-disciplinary coordination, team leadership skills and have a foundation in Revit. Knowledge of working within a BIM environment would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite
Essential Requirements:
The candidate will have a minimum of 12-15 years’ experience in landscape design documentation (RIBA stages 1,2,3 & 4) and landscape master planning
Have strong leadership and management skills
Have managed teams of landscape architects or technicians under them in the past
Have worked on complex, multi-disciplinary schemes in the past
Understand constructability of complex landscapes
Be able to work efficiently with remote-working staff to articulate your design ideas and direct designs effectively
Being based in the UK is preferable and hence mentor staff in-office on fixed days to maintain communication and team spirit
Proficient in the Adobe Suite & CAD software
Ability to lead complex packages
Ability to work well under pressure
Applicants should be motivated individuals with a positive attitude
Exceptional communication skills, excellent spoken and written English
Middle East experience is preferred
