Location: Birmingham or BristolWe have a great opportunity for a well-established Senior Surveyor wanting to move to their next role or a proven Associate looking for a new challenge.As an Associate in our Birmingham or Bristol based planning team you will operate as a key part of our Midlands and South West Land Development and Planning team, tasked with driving our planning and development business across the region.Our Birmingham and Bristol planning teams is two of the 4 UK planning hubs, with other planning teams in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds, each being an integral part of Cushman and Wakefield’s 100 strong National Development and Strategic Advisory teamJoining a global multi-disciplinary real estate consultancy, you will have access to unrivalled levels of market intelligence and resource. This brings the opportunity to build on established national, international and regional client relationships and develop new business from across the public and private sectors, sharing insights and working collaboratively alongside other experts across all asset classes.As an Associate within the team you will support the Head of the Birmingham Planning team and the Head of the Midlands and South West Land Development Team in the implementation of the business plan through managing and developing client relationships, contributing to business development assignments, managing clients’ assignments, representing the office/ team in the market.Key Responsibilities• Support the creation and implementation of a plan to develop a client portfolio• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing clients, actively developing business opportunities• Strengthen Cushman & Wakefield’s integrated portfolio by building links across business groups and global office network and working collaboratively to generate new instructions, pool expertise and provide advice• Proactively looks for and is able to target new business and revenue opportunities with new and existing clients• Lead and co-ordinate the work of team on client projects; prioritise activities and delegate on the basis of appropriate expertise and development needs of team toolsThis is an opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual who wants the opportunity to develop their career.
