They have over 50 years’ experience supporting public, private and institutional clients in developing transport, water, buildings, renewable energy and rural projects participating in emblematic projects on the five continents. They are looking for an Associate Highways Engineer to join their team in London.The Role:Undertake and manage complex highway scheme design using industry standard software at a leading levelOverseeing and participating in the production and delivery of the design, drawings, specifications, and technical reports in line with the project requirements and within agreed timescales and budgetsApply and promote policies relating to Health and Safety (including CDM Regulations), quality and environmentProviding technical guidance and support to our colleagues and assist in mentoring and developmentAbility to organize and conduct several activities simultaneouslyEssential:BEng/MEng (Hons) Degree in Civil EngineeringChartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer, MICE or equivalentGood working knowledge and long-term experience of Autodesk Civils 3D and/or Bentley MX/OpenRoads is essentialDetailed knowledge of BIM procedures and extranet systems such as Bentley ProjectWiseExperienced in project delivery including reports, drawings and specificationsGood working knowledge of Highways Design, DMRB and MCHWKnowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM RegulationsIdeally you have experience working on design & build projects and have worked with central government, local authorities or contractors as clientsDemonstrable organisational skills and approach to work in order to manage inputs from various disciplines and professionalsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
