A pioneering Fire Consultancy in Peterborough is currently searching for an adept Associate Fire Engineer to enrich their vibrant team. The Associate Fire Engineer's Role

The successful Associate Fire Engineer will play a pivotal role, working hand in hand with the Head of Fire Engineering to spearhead business development efforts, expand the client base, and enhance the project portfolio. Central to this position is the management of intricate and large-scale Fire Engineering projects, coupled with leading a diverse team. This includes Senior Fire Engineers, Fire Engineers, and Graduate Fire Engineers, all while facilitating operations remotely.

Tasked with projects across commercial and residential sectors, this role demands superior client relationship management skills and collaborative efforts with the team to execute fire risk assessments, both intrusive and non-intrusive surveys (FRAEWs), and conduct peer reviews.

The Associate Fire Engineer

  • Boasts a minimum of 4 years of experience in Fire Engineering.
  • Possesses an Engineering degree, either an MEng or MSC.
  • Is on the path to becoming a Chartered Engineer or already holds Chartered status.
  • Proficient in utilising PAS9980:#####.
  • Experienced in handling EWS1 forms.
  • Demonstrates an outstanding ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and various stakeholders.
