For the right candidate there is the opportunity to progress rapidly following either a technical or managerial career path.Associate Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
* To lead MEP engineering teams delivering a range of project work
* Managing risk within MEP engineering projects; having good working knowledge of MEP scope/appointments and excellent commercial acumen
* To act as the lead engineer in a design team being responsible for electrical building services concept and detailed design
* Mentoring and developing junior engineers
* Producing reports, drawings and specifications to suit various RIBA design stages
* Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the project
* Liaising closely with other professionals
* Attending a range of project group and technical meetingsExperience and Skills Required
* Excellent project management skills.
* Ability to foster long term productive working relationships.
* Significant experience within an electrical building services design role from either a consultant or contractor background.
* Having an accredited relevant degree or higher educational qualification in an applicable discipline (HNC/HND)
* To have achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status.
* Excellent communication skills and willing to work as part of a close-knit team towards a shared goal
