Job Description
Associate Director | Sponsor Finance, LBO | London
Future_find is retained by a growing provider of leveraged debt facilities for the UK lower mid-market, to find an Associate Director level hire to join their active deal origination team.
Our client is an established deal-team with c£500m AUM. They are looking to grow aggressively over the coming 2-3 years, and this position will be key to helping the team succeed in their goal.
This role will focus on end-to-end leveraged transactions with sponsor involvement (mainly PE, some VC) that are typically growth-event driven. The position and team are both based in London, and we're hoping to engage with candidates possessing excellent modelling and financial analysis skills as the first 'must have'. In addition, this role will also be client facing and internal stakeholder facing, therefore wider relationship management and 'soft' skills outside of the technical deal skills will also be highly valued.
The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to further develop their technical skillset in an ambitious environment. It also sits in a team which will offer further career enhancement as the business grows.
Technical Requirements
Strong analytical skills, specifically including Excel knowledge and ability to handle complex issues.
Direct experience of financial modelling and sound understanding of financial statements is non-negotiable.
Comprehensive knowledge of leveraged finance structures and credit risk considerations.
Interested in commercial considerations and capability to apply strategic thinking, as well as having an ambitious attitude towards self-development.
Full compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards at all times.
Whilst we will consider all applicants, we recommend that this role is most suitable for professionals with 4-5+ years of complementing deal / transaction experience.
