Access Talent group have joined forces with an SME Geotechnical, Environmental and Ecology consultancy based in the UK. With 3 established offices and 2 new locations opening this year, our client are on an upwards trajectory. Having acquired a small business around the Cambridge area, our client is looking for an Associate Director to take over the Geotechnical team development and take the business to the next level. With strong targets to grown turnover by 50% in the next 2 years, our client wants to continue their trend pf punching above their weight and providing fresh and proper consultative solutions.In this role as AD, your work will be cut out growing an already vibrant team into a stronger more established environment. The ideal candidate will have a Geotechnical or Geology background, in either design, ground investigation or both, to ensure you can act as a beacon of knowledge for more junior staff members, but also build on that experience to develop new business for our client. Our client is keen to attract the right person who has a track record of growing teams and developing business – you will have full P&L responsibility, autonomous control of hiring and team growth, and a strong influence on business decision across the current three, soon to be five, offices around the UK.Interested candidates should have:A strong Geotechnical or Geology technical background – 15 years + A track record of growing business, running teams and business development An appetite to take full control and responsibility of an entire Geotechnical team across the UK An ability to work in the Cambridge or Essex area A right to live and work in the UKThis is a rare opportunity to join a business on the up and accelerate that growth yourself.
