Associate Director Quantity Surveyor

Peace Recruitment is very excited to be working with a brand-new client, as we assist them in their search for an individual to perform the role of Associate Director Quantity Surveyor.This multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is in the process of further expanding their Manchester office, and keen to find a stand-out individual to become “2nd in command” within their already established Cost Management team.Key Responsibilities/Tasks:Supporting the Head of Cost Management with internal team management duties (where required)Work to provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completionSite presence as required by specific project deliverablesPrepare Estimates/Cost Plans/Tender Documents/Tender ReportsAssist in the mentoring & development of junior staffWork collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client deliveryManaging client relationships and service delivery on a project specific basis, in conjunction with senior managementNecessary Skills/ExperiencePre-contract QS experience, working on buildings/property construction projects is ESSENTIALA variation of sector experience would be beneficial, ideally including at least one of Residential, Commercial, LeisureBusiness Development and Team Management experience would be beneficial at this level, but not essentialA good local marketplace knowledge & contacts would be of interestA highly motivated & driven attitude is key, and a keenness to assist in further developing the business as a wholeIn Return:Salary - £68,000 - £80,000 (DOE)Annual Bonus SchemeHybrid WorkingGym MembershipPrivate HealthcareCoffee Card (£20pm)Click APPLY, or if you would like to find out more about this opportunity, please get in touch with Joey Burns at Peace Recruitment – joey.burns@ peacerecruitment.co.uk
