Associate Director of Communications (Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Projects)

I’m working with a reputable consenting and communications advisory firm who deliver communications direction for DCOs for some of the world’s most pioneering infrastructure projects including solar, wind and water infrastructure.
My client is looking for an Associate Director Communications to join their rapidly expanding team of communication professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing venture who is committed to combatting climate change and achieving a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
Imparting expertise and experience from similar schemes to design and deliver stakeholder engagement, consultation and PR strategies, principally for Development Consent Order (DCO) schemes;
Lead on the delivery of DCO strategies, including client liaison and advisory.
Manage sensitive stakeholder relationships on behalf of the client and working across DCO teams on the coordination of stakeholder engagement and consultation requirements.
Managing third party suppliers and account management team.
Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities through your existing client networks and creating business development initiatives.
Developing and managing media relationships for clients both locally and nationally.
Manage project finance, budgets and external suppliers.
Keeping updated with the latest changes in planning, energy and water policies and the political landscapes across our client sectors.
