Some of the key deliverables include the following:Manage vendor contract matters from start to finish which may involve any or all of the following: taking instructions, gathering information, determining the appropriate course of action, managing timelines and people’s expectations re completion, reviewing and drafting legal documents, negotiating agreements, managing input from the business and external counsel if appropriate, seeking sign-off from relevant parties, dealing with execution or providing final legal report as appropriate.Draft, work on and negotiate vendor contracts, including recognizing and escalating vendor contractual issues with MUFG vendor management, outsourcing, data protection, Legal, information security and business teams.Vendor contracts will include software license agreements, subscription as a service agreements, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements. Assisting and advising vendor management and Legal on opportunities for enhancements to vendor contract review processes and proceduresResponding to legal queries from operational departments, internal control/support groups, client integration/client services teams, senior management and entity boards, all with respect to applicable laws and regulatory matters affecting the business and its client servicesAdvising the business on day-to-day legal and regulatory matters across all key jurisdictions of the business and assisting the business with managing legal riskAttending to any other ad hoc duties or projects as requiredQualified lawyer with post qualification experience and a valid practicing certificateExperience in an in-house legal role ideally with a bank, fund manager or fund service provider (like a fund administrator)Experience something Brilliantly Different with a career with MUFG Investor Services.Who are we?
