That means delivering better outcomes for our clients, helping our people to realize their potential, and doing our part to create a prosperous society.Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in over 110 offices worldwide.Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend have an exciting position for an experienced Estimator to lead an estimating team working with clients on Nuclear and Renewables projects.Although the role is based in the UK and working for UK clients, there will be also be an opportunity to support our international business.The role will suit someone who is keen to develop new business and to develop proposals for our growing client base. Due to the nature of the work, we are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in energy across one or more of the following - offshore wind, hydrogen, solar, CCUS, Oil & Gas and Mining.The team will deliver a wide range of Estimating outputs for our clients, to support their decision making, including:Estimate Production (from Order of Magnitude estimates through to detailed estimates built up from first principles)Estimating Support to Major Programme Set upQualificationsQualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience, ideally in a consultancy environmentRelevant successful experience of provision of estimating and/or QS services in clean energy, oil & gas or mining projectsPrevious experience of working with estimating software packagesMembership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towardsDesirable membership of RICS / CIOB /A.
