Together we’re building a truly inclusive workplace where all of our colleagues have the opportunity to make a real difference.Sounds an exciting prospect, right?You’ll form part of our Portfolio Analytics & Insights team with a primary focus on enhancing value creation for Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) through active credit risk and Return on Tangible Equity (RoTE) management, whilst also supporting its digitisation and innovation agenda. Key analytical services related to pricing, capital / return on equity management, and customer insights incl. sustainability are also delivered to CIB.This role provides the opportunity to work flexibly, develop personally and professionally, and work collaboratively with a team with multifaceted strengths to build our business.The day to day:You will play a key role in supporting the team in the development and leverage of our data and analytical capabilities to drive and generate value for BCB. Our team focuses on:Drive value for BcB through identifying opportunities to optimise RoTE.Working with the wider Portfolio Analytics & Insights team to develop and maintain BcB’s Pricing framework.Analyse data and provide valuable insight into the BcB portfolio shape and return on equity, and draft committee papers relating to Pricing and Returns.Work with key stakeholders across Finance, GCT and Products teams to ensure our pricing framework, models, and approach are aligned with BcB’s 4YOP objectives.We’d like you to possess (essential):Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to present complex information simply.A good knowledge of the products and pricing approach used in BcB, and the drivers of capital and return on equity.Financial analysis skills. Ideally, you’ll be comfortable analysing data using Excel and SQL (or prepared to learn) and making recommendations based on your analysis.Able to manage and prioritise multiple deliverables in a timely and effective manner.A strategic mindset with the ability to think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions.A great teammate willing and able to take the broader view for the benefit of the wider team.
