Our client, a growing advisory firm in London, would like an M&A Associate Director to join their growing team who specialise in providing tailored expertise for private clients, non-profit organisations, and corporate businesses.

If you are passionate about mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance, and have a track record of driving successful transactions, this might be the perfect opportunity for you to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth of their M&A practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and manage M&A transactions both on the buy side and sell side
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, and financial analysis to support deal evaluation and decision-making processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and legal advisors
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on complex M&A transactions
  • Ensure the team workloads are managed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and achieve targets

Your key skills for this role will include:

  • At least 6 years of proven experience in M&A, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance
  • Strong understanding of buy-side and sell-side transactions, deal structuring, and valuation methodologies
  • Proven financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Confident in project management abilities, with the ability to prioritise
  • A clear and personable communicator with the ability to influence with stakeholders at all levels
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA or ACA will be highly advantageous
