and not via this e-mail address.Associate Archivist - Sound and Film (£20-23k, fixed term, full time)We have a new vacancy for an archivist to work with us at the National Railway Museum to manage our archive of sound and film materials. We believe there is massive, relatively untapped potential in this area and there is scope for you to have a real impact in the way we manage and access this collection. You will be a part of a wider, supportive team, working alongside curatorial colleagues as well as library and archive staff, at an exciting point in the Museum's development. We have an ambitious vision for the future to develop our approach in how we tell the stories of the railway.It is likely that you will hold a professional qualification in archives administration and also demonstrable knowledge of how to work with sound and film archives, understanding how they should be cared for, researched and presented.
