Job TitleAssociate Account Manager - Real EstateJob Description SummaryCushman and Wakefield are looking for an Account Manager to join one of their most important client accounts, overseeing the operational & account level governance, reporting & co-ordination of the team day to day, and directly supporting the Account Lead.Job DescriptionThis is a pivotal role for the client, managing and overseeing a dedicated team of Surveyors, Technicians together with support from Cushman's Operational Client platform to directly deliver a wide range of general estates management, treasury and data management activities.You will also be instructing and overseeing a high volume of transactional management activity delivered through our National and Regional service lines.Core Responsibilities: Oversite for all general estate management activity across the portfolio with responsibility for the provision and assurance of all work in progressOversite for all transactional activity being delivered such as rent reviews, lease renewals, acquisitions, leasehold disposals and managed exits Oversite of internal client operations platform to ensure they are meeting the accounts contractual obligations Drive operational efficiency to ensure that key performance indicators/SLA’s are being met/exceededOversite of our internal client operations platform to ensure compliance with agreed key performance indicatorsProvide coaching and mentoring for direct reports and/or junior surveyors conducting performance reviews and supporting ongoing training activityContribute and support to the account director and wider team fee generation targets including supporting local and central business development opportunities and initiativesActively support Social Value events and agreed directives as agreed with the client team and Account DirectorQualifications & Experience:Degree level estate management qualification or equivalent desiredIdeally MRICS qualified, or suitable attained experience Demonstrable experience and knowledge of managing a large operational property portfolio for Government or similar large occupierAbility to take responsibility and ownership for managing high volumes of client instructions Good working knowledge and application of key property legislation Good working knowledge of corporate property financial management with practical application of property forecasting and budgetingPractical knowledge and application of managing transactional activity across a leasehold estate including but not limited to Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals, Acquisitions, DisposalsLine management skills desirable
