Assistant Yard Manager

We are currently looking for an Assistant Yard Manager for our client based in Northfleet / Borstal�

This is a full-time role paying �30 to �35k per annum depending on experience. A yearly salary increase for the first 5 years and a performance bonus is offered.

This is a Monday to Friday role working on day shift.

Duties

• Oversee and coordinate the colleagues on Shift


• Manage Yard Operations


• Report to the Yard Manager


• Ensure targets are met.


• Monitor staff performance.


• Maintain the H&S levels on site.


• Liaise with other departments of the business.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong leadership and management skills


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills


• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.


• FLT Counterbalance licence would be an advantage but not a must.
