As theAssistant VM Manager for Kidswear you will be responsible for shaping the seasonal Visual Merchandising strategy through to delivery. Accountable for both the practical set up and documented detail of all aspects of product handling, range segmentation and kit usage. You will work through product grading and space information to enable delivery through shape of chain and enabling accuracy of VM communications and ensure the product is presented in the most effective and commercial way, delivering both confidence and relevance in how we present our brand.
Agree seasonal plan for Womenswear with VM Manager / Head of VM prior to set up, with a detailed plan of intent. Deliver plan to VM principles which define the brand look and feel challenging when relevant. Working with the Womenswear team to gather all relevant product and space information by grade and month. Run workshops with each category team to determine a clear instore plan space, kit usage, product segmentation. Collaborate with Styling coordinators on use of mannequins to align level of category focus and message to customer. Propose POS solutions to Instore Marketing team to align product focus. Manage the set up and capture all relevant information to formulate the seasonal instore VM customer journey liaising with space to ensure consistency of information. Work hands on to deliver seasonal set up, with a high standard of product handling, colour, space and kit management liaising with space to ensure consistency of information. Produces seasonal planning documents to inform VM Communications team for the creation of store guidance. Follow the evolution of key product statements (campaigns, new launches) as they develop to stay informed of output shares impact to first bites, POS, windows etc. Proposes new initiatives / elevations to align to the seasonal strategy and wider Instore Experience pillars. Be the instore expert within the team, showcasing problem solving product handling capabilities and a strong awareness of kit usage. Ensure awareness of key market trends and competitor analysis Who You Are
Significant experience working in Visual Merchandising with experience working at a management level within retail Experience working in Kidswear would be advantageous Good level of creativity and ability to use initiative. Strong communication skills Photoshop & 3D design skills beneficial Commercially aware with a positive approach to challenge Good communication skills written and verbal Everyone's Welcome
