The client is an independent Environmental and Transport Consultancy, who specialise in delivering commercially focused solutioned. They work on a diverse range of development projects and schemes ranging from small-scale residential developments to city and regional master planning projects.

Due to the growth in the business, the client is on the lookout for a talented Assistant Transport Planner to join the Transport team based in Bath. They cover all types of sectors including retail, residential, commercial & leisure, education, regeneration, overseas, energy & waste and health, and will be an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate!

The Position as an Assistant Transport Planner

As a Transport Planner you will be involved in all streams of workflow, from the planning through to design and delivery. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a number of exciting complex projects where you will be supporting senior members of the team in advising and liaising with clients.

Essential Requirements of an Assistant Transport Planner

• A degree in a related subject (MSc in Transport is desirable)
• Experience with preparing transport statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Construction Traffic Management Plans and inputs to Environment Impact Assessments.
• Use of TRICS database and AutoCAD
• Proficient numeracy skills and the ability to interpret data.
